This is a study of a peacock named "Peter Pan" that I took photos of at Old McFaye’s farm when I was there with my daughter for open farm day! When I saw this beautiful piece of cherry burl, I knew it was perfect for a peacock.
This piece is wood burned by hand on cherry burl, embellished with prismacolor colored pencil, genuine 24k gold leaf, and gold metallic artist pen. Sealed with polycrylic.
It measures 9 inches in diameter and is about an inch thick. Includes heavy duty hanging hardware installed on the back for quick and easy display.
